Announcing Digital Mindfulness Live in London!

Since we started the Digital Mindfulness Show back in 2014, I’ve had in the back of our minds to put on an event that brings together people in various industries striving to improve the quality of our digitised world and digitised lives. Unfortunately, most of the people that are doing amazing work, and those who are interested in the developments currently taking place, aren’t always in a position to meet one another on a regular basis.

Coming this May 24-25 in London UK, is Digital Mindfulness Live, and tickets are on sale now. The conference is an opportunity to live and breathe what it means to be digitally mindful for two full days. On day one, you’ll have access to hands-on coaching in design, wellness, and productivity in an age of distraction from world-class trainers, and on the second day, you’ll get to listen to talks and panel discussions from some outstanding speakers on topics like digital transformation, agile working in an age of distraction, mindfulness meditation, digital detoxing, designing for mindful digital experiences, and much more.

Amongst others, you’ll get to see:

Rohan Gunatillake: Rohan is the founder of Mindfulness Everywhere, and one of the co-founders of the insanely popular Buddhify app. Rohan has an incredible amount of experience with, what he calls, urban meditation, and the author of This Is Happening: Redesigning Mindfulness for our Very Modern Lives. Check out Rohan’s Mindfulness Everywhere website here, and his podcast with us below.

James Williams: As the former Head of Special Projects at Google, and the co-founder of TimeWellSpent.io, James has a wealth of experience and insights into the ways technology should be designed to better support human attention and intention, and what could technologies could be just around the corner. Learn more about James here, and catch his interview with Digital Mindfulness here.

Gemma Johnson: Gemma is the founder of National Unplugging Day in the UK, a campaign to bring more awareness of the impact of hyperconnectivity. Gemma will be on our panel about Digital Detoxing and is a fascinating woman. Check out her website here.

And these speakers really are the tip of the iceberg. Between sessions, there will be ample opportunities to try gadgets designed from the ground up to be digitally mindful.
