Earlier in November ’13, the celebrated Zen Buddhist monk Thich Nhat Hanh gave a detailed talk following his trip to the Google Campus as part of his tour of North America of the benefits of using our digital tools more mindfully.

During this fascinating talk, Thay speaks about intention, insight, and innovation, particularly how can we innovate to take care of ourselves. He mentions that Googlers are very interested in learning about the ways technology can be created as a force for integration rather than destruction as technology at the moment destructs rather than integrates.

How can we innovate in order to take good care of ourselves, our workforce and Mother Earth? – Thich Nhat Hanh

Listen to the talk below and learn Thay’s perspective on how technology can be used to improve the dispel anger, create happiness and make space and time for ourselves and our loved ones.
